FINE DINING

Saskia Restaurant

Fine dining has never been better than at this fusion boutique hotel. Saskia is open to anyone who loves to spoil themselves. It oozes with detailed artistry, from the paintings on the walls, to how each dish is creatively plated. . The restaurant prides itself in its extensive knowledge of food and wine pairing – astounding even accomplished foodies. Its menu includes a variety of seafood like line fish, garlic and chilli prawns, Indonesian fish, and salmon. Khaya Ndlovu

Khaya translated means ‘home’, so this is a perfect destination for anyone seeking a venue that caters to just that. They have a stunning open-plan farm kitchen, and meals are prepared with delicacy and only the freshest of ingredients. Because the restaurant is situated on a resort, outside guests are welcome for evening meals and their delightful Sunday lunches. The menu options include the poke bowl which is pan-seared prawns with a medley of fresh vegetables, avocados, fermented corn served on a bed of rice with chilli coriander dressing. A vegan option is also available by replacing the prawns with soy sweet-chilli marinated tofu. Available for an order is also some burgers and sandwiches.

Mountain Café

Situated in a blueberry farm, it is no surprise that the customers are in love with their blueberry cheesecake. Luckily for us, the lead up to this dessert is just as sweet. The food, wine and atmosphere combine to create a heart-warming experience. Chef Renne Naude is passionate about handcrafted cuisine that makes use of fresh and local ingredients.  The menu changes weekly, but if you are lucky you will find some blueberry cheesecake, macadamia pie, chocolate and caramel sundae en lemon and blueberry cake.

The Venue, situated in Hoedspruit, is a go-to place for anyone who loves good food, wine and a relaxed environment. It has a wide variety of pizzas including vegan options.  Those feeling a bit more creative can build their own pizza from the extras list on the menu. Sweet tooth cravings can be satisfied with some malva pudding or a chocolate brownie served with a scoop of ice cream.
