Ladismith Cheese company’s very own Pizza Mozzarella is among the products awarded the Qualité prize by the South African Dairy Championships on 28 March 2022.
The Pizza Mozzarella- a mouth-watering, stretchy cheese that makes a delicious topping for meals – was one of over 900 dairy products from 68 manufacturers that competed for the attention of judges.
Judges assessed the cheeses based on three sensory aspects : flavour and taste, appearance, as well as composition and texture.
From the large number of entries, only 26 products were honoured with a Qualité mark of excellence- Ladismith Cheese company’s Pizza Mozzarella among them. The Qualité award highlights products of exceptionally high quality and is recognised as the only mark of quality for dairy products in South Africa.
Ladismith Cheese company is sure to make its mark in South Africa’s dairy industry this year. With an exciting show featuring Tian Proë and the company’s products currently airing on kykNET, as well as a number of collaborations with some of South Africa’s social media favourites heading viewers’ way.
Ladismith Cheese company will also be present at the 18th annual South Africa Cheese Festival- an award-winning outdoor culinary event this April. Ladismith Cheese company will be showcasing the very best of its products for attendees to enjoy. The festival is a unique experience where customers will be able to taste and buy the largest variety of cheeses available.
Ladismith Cheese company will be hosting the Ladismith Cheese Carving Competition- a daily highlight where customers can enter for free and show off their creativity by carving cheese for a chance to win big prizes.
