Well, if you are celebrated chef Wandile Mabaso, you combine your classic French culinary training with the best of South African ingredients for a “Flavours Of The Rainbow Nation” menu that perfectly showcases SA’s “flavours, culture and heritage through cuisine”. 

Chef Wandile was invited to curate an intimate dinner for French President Emmanuel Macron at the French Residence in Pretoria ahead of the G20 Summit. On the guest list: 20 of South Africa’s most influential creatives, including painter William Kentridge, sculptor Mary Sibande, filmmaker Anant Singh, fashion designer Thebe Magugu and singer Zoë Modiga.
