Comfort Food Reigns Supreme on the Live-Cook Channel’s 5th Episode
The Live-Cook Channel is at it again, offering audiences yet another top South African chef to teach us the finer ways of cooking tasty, Instagram-worthy dishes. For their fifth episode, the Live-Cook Channel will welcome the incredible Giggling Gourmet to the show. Jenny Morris is a celebrated author, magazine writer, radio and TV presenter, celebrity chef, teacher and culinary tour guide – and on 6 August she will be guiding us through the steps to making her tasty signature dish of Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast topped with Blistered Tomato Sauce.
Treat Yourself This Women’s Day
As South Africa celebrates the many strong women who have made our country great, the Live-Cook Channel is pleased that our first woman chef will be joining us in the kitchen on 6 August – just two days ahead of Women’s Day!
Funny, charming and the queen of entertainment, Jenny Morris promises to be both highly entertaining and educational. Besides her own catering company, Jenny teaches practical hands-on cooking courses at her cooking school, and has conquered both the radio and TV world, too! She is renowned for her culinary prowess and makes even the most complex meal look easy and taste utterly scrumptious. There’s nothing this celebrity chef can’t do, so ticket holders are guaranteed a dish of note by the end of the evening.
This is the perfect episode to gift a mother, sister or simply for the ladies to spend a night in together bonding and cooking up a storm.
“Let’s do dinner together!” Jenny says. “We’re going to make my Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast, so to Book 2 Cook with me, all you have to do is go to Webtickets and book before the 2nd of August.”

Each box contains all the pre-portioned ingredients for 2 or 4 to cook the chef’s dish along with them live.
To date the Live-Cook Channel has featured 4 chefs along with our Master Presenter, Chef Pete Goffe-Wood. These were Franck Dangereux, Luke Dale Roberts, Benny Masewameng and Bertus Basson on Thursday, 23 July, who showed us how to create his signature Fragrant Coconut Poached Chicken with Jasmin Rice, Cucumber and Cashew Pickle.
“We’ve had an overwhelming response since our launch, with praise pouring in from everyone who has taken part in this unique culinary experience,” says Live-Cook Channel Producer, Barbara Elshove. “Friends have cooked along from afar, colleagues have shared dinner together, spouses have come together, and even birthdays have been celebrated! We’re also pleased that we can continue to support the restaurant industry and keep chefs and their kitchens going through this solidarity initiative. To date we have ploughed over R150 000 back into the restaurant and food supply industry through this endeavour.”
