SA Chef Conference & Expo: New Dates Announced

SA Chef Media and the South African Chefs Association are excited to announce new dates for the SA Chef Conference & Expo 2024. This landmark event will now take place on 25 and 26 November at the Protea Hotel Cape Town Waterfront Breakwater Lodge.

These new dates allow for the announcement of the new President of the SA Chefs Association at their AGM next month, providing an exciting opportunity for the incoming leader to address attendees and outline their vision for the future of the association and the broader South African culinary landscape.

This event will also serve as a platform for the SA Chefs Association, FEDHASA, and The Restaurant Collective to share deeper insights into their newly formed partnership and its implications for the industry.

With the additional time, we’re enhancing our programme and speaker line-up, to better serve our attendees and align with the key objectives of the conference, which include:

  • Finding solutions to the business challenges faced by the restaurant industry, including strategies and best practices to recession-proof operations and mitigate the impact of seasonality.
  • Driving innovation and sustainability in the sector by exploring new technology solutions, products, services, and global industry trends.
  • Positioning South Africa as a premier gastronomic destination and increasing our share of the culinary tourism market.
  • Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the SA Chefs Association and its impact and contributions to the culinary industry.

Join us for two full days packed with invaluable insights, networking, and learning opportunities tailored for everyone in the culinary landscape – from SMMEs to large businesses, executive chefs and restaurant owners to culinary students and suppliers across the value chain.
