Staycold International are on the lookout for one of their oldest beverage coolers in South Africa that is still in working order.
This will then be bought back and showcased together with their new models, at their head office showroom and factory in Parys, Free State. The competition is being run until the 31st January 2021 during the hot summer months and the winner will be given a brand new model in exchange for theirs.
Staycold are busy approaching their bottlers, dealers and corporate customers who may know of any of their clients, i.e. restaurants, cafes, farm stores, supermarkets, hotels, chefs etc who may still be using one of Staycold’s original beverage coolers, manufactured in the 1980’s. The winner will be selected by Staycold based on the oldest, best looking unit that is in good working order in a typical environment where the coolers are used.
Lena le Roux, Staycold’s Managing Director had this to say: “August is our birthday month, so we wanted to celebrate and launch this campaign. We are known for our durability and reliability and Staycold fridges can often be found still working hard long after others have fallen away. This is why we have named this the Wanted Alive Competition.”
Staycold has been manufacturing self-contained commercial fridges and freezers from their factory in Parys, in South Africa for 40 years. They pride themselves in making reliable, durable energy efficient fridges and freezers which are more cost-effective over the unit’s lifetime.
