Chef Gear proudly celebrated the launch of their new flagship store on September 5th in Woodstock, Cape Town with an artsy, vibrant event. Meanwhile, the Johannesburg store got a fresh look and a new home in Greenstone.
As a thank you, we handed out special Chef Gear goodie bags filled with fun surprises, including Chef Gear aprons that they could personalise during a creative ‘Sip & Paint’ session curated by the talented Fuata Moyo.
Guests were treated to sexy canapés (by L&T Catering), bubbly & wine (by Vergelegen Wine Estate) and craft beer (by Woodstock Brewery) mingling with fellow culinary enthusiasts in a lively atmosphere.
The evening was hosted by the ever-charismatic Sami Hall and Chef Thabo from Chef Expressions, who kept the crowd entertained and the conversations flowing.
Chef Gear is proud to be a media partner of the SA Chef Magazine, and welcomed Riana Andrews, Editor of SA Chef Magazine, who shared some valuable insights into the culinary world and the evolution of Chef Gear as a ‘desired’ brand in the hospitality industry—one that empowers chefs to cook their best, in their best.
Guests were left with another standout moment of the evening with a fun food demonstration by Chef Thabo and Sami as his “shoe-chef”, cooking up Chef Thabo’s signature burger with a mystery ingredient.
